Where life takes us...

I grew up in a small town of 7/8,000 people. There are now about 15,000 people here now. It is a country town that sprung up during the gold rush era in Queensland, Australia. This town has a rich history and is currently mining gold again after many years of no mining. The town is well known for its contribution to education as it holds several boarding schools that support the another local industry...beef cattle. These properties are huge and remote. Some children don't attend a regular school as their only accessibility is to Distance Education or as it has always been know, School of the Air.
I have lived in many places and have moved to these places for various reasons. I have lived in all the eastern States of Australia and have ended up living now in Melbourne.
It is a huge city compared with where I started out. It has so much on offer and its really not as dangerous to live here as people said it would be. Every town I have lived in has had its merits and failings. Life is what you make it, doesn't matter where one lives its what you do with it.
Live life!
cheers
